Brother-and-sister duo Blondfire have been making music together since they were children. Now they've signed to Warner Bros. for their major label debut, Young Heart. It will feature "Waves," an acoustic track that highlights the pair's knack for dreamy melodies and electronic rhythms.
"This is our attempt at a dark disco sound," member Bruce Driscoll tells Rolling Stone. "The song talks about the ebb and flow of life and how all things good and bad come in waves."
Young Heart was recorded in a week at Bruce's home studio and Hollywood's Wax Studios. It was self-produced by him and sister Erica Driscoll and will be released in 2013.
