Nick Cannon has been released from a hospital in Los Angeles after being treated for what his wife, Mariah Carey, described as "mild kidney failure." "Daddy Nick is getting beter [sic], we're all home together taking care of each other, excited about the new year!!" Carey tweeted today.

The America's Got Talent host was transferred from a medical facility in Aspen, Colorado, where he was hospitalized during a vacation with Carey and their children. Details of Cannon's ailment have not been revealed, but his representative said in a statement released yesterday that he is "resting and recovering at home." Cannon's rep also confirmed that he will return to his morning radio show, Rollin' with Nick Cannon, on January 17th.
