Drake and Chris Brown Sued Again Over Nightclub Brawl

Chris Brown and Drake face another lawsuit stemming from their June 14th brawl at a New York club, this time from a model who says he received a severed tendon in his right hand, The Associated Press reports. Romain Julien was sitting at a nearby table at Greenhouse in Manhattan when Brown, Drake and their entourages began throwing glasses and bottles at each other, resulting in cuts, cosmetic deformity and mental distress, Julien claimed in a complaint filed Monday in New York Supreme Court. 

His suit accuses Brown of having incited the incident, describing the singer as having a "hot temper." Julien included W.i.P., the owners of Greenhouse, for allegedly creating a public nuisance not providing adequate security and serving liquor to patrons already intoxicated. 

Neither Drake nor Brown's camps have responded to the suit. Greenhouse and W.i.P. said they would "respond appropriately" after looking over the legal filing. 

Last week, Greenhouse and W.i.P. filed their own suit against Brown and Drake, seeking $16 million over the brawl. Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., the company that owns the trademark to Greenhouse, claimed that the brawl led to bad press, which ruined a $4 million licensing deal. The suit called the behavior of the two musicians "beyond the bounds of reason" and added that the two "should have foreseen that their notoriety and celebrity would ensure that their acts had far-reaching and devastating effects." 

NBA star Tony Parker has also sued Greenhouse and W.i.P. Parker, a bystander who claims he suffered a "corneal laceration of the left eye and other injuries," doesn't include Drake or Brown in his filing, which holds the club responsible: "The defendants were reckless, careless and negligent in permitting Drake's entourage and Brown's entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two."

ASAP Rocky SXSW Show Ends in Brawl

Beer can thrown at stage ignites tension at Vice party.

An ASAP Rocky show at SXSW came to a messy end as a brawl broke out between the band and the crowd at the Vice Kills Texas party where they were playing.

Spinner reports that the growing rowdiness of the Harlem-based rapper's show erupted into a fight around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday when a member of the audience threw a can of beer onto the stage, hitting one of the ASAP Mob members. As Rocky tried to calm down both his crew and the crowd, another can of beer flew at the stage and hit the rapper. After still more projectiles from the audience, ASAP Rocky and his crew jumped down into the audience to fight.

Although the brawl was cleared within minutes, at least one participant was seen with a bloodied head. The police arrived shortly afterward and shut down the party.

The rapper Jim Jones was arrested on Saturday following a brawl at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.

The fight broke out around 2 a.m. Saturday morning in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel after a party hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs. Four other people were arrested and one state police officer was treated for minor injuries sustained in the incident.

Jones, whose fifth studio album, Capo, came out in April, was charged with resisting arrest for an alleged assault on an officer as well as breach of peace. He later tweeted that he was released on a $40,000 bond. "This is gettin blown way out of proportion," he wrote.
