Madonna Stalker Escapes Mental Health Facility

A man who was convicted of stalking Madonna in the Nineties has escaped a mental health facility in California. According to Los Angeles police, Robert Dewey Hoskins walked away from the facility unnoticed and remains at large. Police have described him as highly psychotic and violent when not taking his medication.

Hoskins, 54, was sentenced to 10 years in jail in 1996 after being arrested for scaling a wall around the pop icon's home in Hollywood and threatening to slit her throat. Hoskins had told the singer's bodyguard that she was meant to be his wife and that if could not have her, he would kill her. After he was released from prison, he was arrested again in July of last year and was sent to another mental health facility in Norwalk, California.

Beyonce Hospital Complaints Dismissed by Health Officials

Beyonce hosts the screening of "Live at Roseland: The Elements of 4" at the Paris Theatre in New York.

Complaints that Beyoncé and Jay-Z's luxury birthing suite at the Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan led to mistreatment of other patients have been reviewed and dismissed by New York State health officials. Patients had claimed that the superstar couple's security had kept them away from their children in the neonatal facility. Health department spokesman Jeffrey Gordon said they received two complaints, but both were dismissed by last night.

According to media reports, the superstar couple paid over $1 million to claim and furnish an entire floor of the hospital, but Lenox Hill has officially denied this, saying that Jay-Z and Beyoncé paid the standard rate for an executive suite, without disclosing that price.
