Three Members of Baroness Remain Hospitalized in U.K.

Three members of Baroness remain hospitalized in England with injuries they received Wednesday when the tour bus carrying them plunged 30 feet off a viaduct in heavy rain. Singer/guitarist John Baizley broke his left arm and left leg, and drummer Allen Blickle and bassist Matt Maggioni each suffered fractured vertebrae, according to an update on the Georgia metal band's website. Guitarist Pete Adams has been released from hospital.

The bus driver remains in critical condition, and another member of the road crew is still undergoing testing. Three other members of the crew have been treated and released.

Baroness were on their way from Bristol to a gig in Southampton when the bus smashed through barricades and fell off a viaduct near Bath. Police are investigating the crash.

An update on the band's Facebook page has garnered more than 3,600 "likes" and 1,200 comments, and shock-rocker Alice Cooper tweeted support for the band. "Thankfully nobody was killed," Cooper wrote yesterday. "Recover quickly guys!"

The band has cancelled all upcoming shows on its tour schedule. Baroness released their most recent album, Yellow & Green, in July.

Chris Brown to Remain on Supervised Probation

Chris Brown has been on good behavior in recent months, yet the R&B star has been ordered by a judge to remain under the watchful eye of a probation officer as he works to complete his sentence for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown's attorney argued in court yesterday that the singer has been honest with probation officers, passed all of his drug tests and has "made great strides" while under supervision. Brown has also completed half of six months of community service, including roadside cleanup and graffiti removal. Judge Goerge Lomeli said in his ruling that it was not unreasonable for the star to remain under supervision until he completes more of his community service hours.

Brown is set to appear on the Grammy Awards this Sunday night. The singer is up for three awards, including Best R&B Album for his hit record F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies).
