Will Ferrell Announces 'Anchorman' Sequel
Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy on 'Conan.'Meghan Sinclair / Team Coco Will Ferrell announced that he will star in a second Anchorman movie on last night's episode of Conan. The comedian, who appeared in full costume as his Anchorman character Ron Burgundy, verbally sparred with host Conan O'Brien before telling the audience "As of 0900 hours Mountain Time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel to Anchorman. It is official, there will be a sequel to Anchorman."
No further details have been announced, though it seems safe to presume that Ferrell's costars Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell will also sign on for the movie. Adam McKay, the co-writer and director of the original film, is also likely to be on board.
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, now a widely quoted cult classic, was a modest hit when it hit theaters in 2004, but it was crucial in establishing Ferrell as a movie star after his departure from Saturday Night Live.
You can watch Ferrell's appearance as Burgundy on Conan below.

Leonard Cohen Announces The First Dates Of His 2012 'Old Ideas' World Tour
Leonard Cohen performs in Victoria, Australia.Leonard Cohen is launching a world tour behind his new LP Old Ideas in the Fall. So far, only European dates have been announced, but a press release says that "Leonard will return to North America this Fall, details to be announced soon." The first leg of the tour kicks off August 12th in Ghent, Belgium and wraps up October 7th in Lisbon, Portugal.
Cohen spoke to Rolling Stone in January, and indicated that he was conflicted about going back on the road. "A tour is being booked," he said. "I haven't signed up for it yet. I have two minds [about touring.] I don't like to do a small tour, so whether I'm going to sign up for another couple of years . . . is that really where I want to be? Touring is like taking the first step on a walk to China."
The 77- year-old singer-songwriter returned to the road in May of 2008 after a 15-year break. "I never thought I'd tour again, although I did have dreams," Cohen said. "Sometimes my dreams would entail me being up on stage and not remembering the words or the chords. It had a nightmarish quality, which did not invite me to pursue the enterprise." But Cohen's finances took a downward turn in the early 2000s after a dispute with a former manager wiped out most of his life savings. "I was able to restore my tiny fortune within a year or so," Cohen said. "But I kept on touring."
The tour ran for nearly 250 shows and took Cohen around the world many times over, wrapping up on December 11th, 2010 in Las Vegas. The highly acclaimed show regularly ran well over three hours a night. When the tour wrapped, he began work on Old Ideas with producer Patrick Leonard. The sessions were fruitful, and Cohen says he already had two-thirds of another album done.
Here are the dates for the Old Ideas World Tour 2012:

Beyonce performs at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.Beyoncé has announced plans to return to the stage for the first time since giving birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, earlier this year. The singer will play a series of three concerts over Memorial Day weekend at Revel Resorts, a new casino in Atlantic City. The shows will be fairly intimate for the arena-packing star, as the venue only has 5,000 seats.

Lady Gaga Announces Media Blackout
Ray Tamarra/Getty Images; Ramesh Sharma/India Today Group/Getty ImagesLady Gaga declared she is entering a media blackout phase last night in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. "Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time," she said in a pre-taped conversation filmed for Oprah's Next Chapter: Lady Gaga, a special that aired on the talk show mogul's OWN network.
"The latest thing I do is I don't read a damn thing," Gaga said about drastically limiting her media diet. "No press, no television. If my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about?' I don't want to know nothing about anything that is going on in relation to music. I shut it all off."
The singer, who is about to embark on an extended world tour in support of her album Born This Way in late April, also told Winfrey that she hopes to eventually settle down and become a mother. "I want kids, I want a soccer team," she said. "And I want a husband. Well, I'm being superfluous. I don't want to have one kid. I want to have a few."

Ringo Starr Announces New All Starr Band Line-Up, Tour Dates
Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band perform at the Congress Center in Prague.Michaela Feuereislova/isifa/Getty Images Ringo Starr has announced the line-up for the newest All Starr Band. It will feature Todd Rundgren, Gregg Rolie (Santana), Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister) alongside saxophonist Mark Rivera and drummer Gregg Bissonette. The tour launches June 14th at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls and runs through July 21st at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles – though a press release states that more dates will be added. Ringo is touring in support of his new album Ringo 2012.
Ringo began touring with a constantly rotating crew of All Starr Bands in 1989. Countless musicians have been in the mix over the years, including Joe Walsh, Levon Helm, Jack Bruce, John Entwistle, Sheila E and Paul Carrack. The musicians come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, but they were all the lead vocalist on at least two big radio hits. The setlist mixes in those songs with hits from Ringo's solo career and a handful of Beatles classics.
Todd Rundgren and Richard Page have both participated in previous All Starr Band tours, but this is the first outing for Steve Lukather and Gregg Rolie, who was the lead vocalist in the original line-up of Santana. In 1973 he co-founded Journey with Neal Schon. He left the band in 1980.
Here is our best guess at what this year's setlist will look like:
"It Don't Come Easy"
"Act Naturally"
"Honey Don't"
"Rosanna"
"Oye Como Va"
"I Saw The Light"
"I Wanna Be Your Man"
"Wings"
"Kyrie"
"You're Sixteen"
"Yellow Submarine"
"Hold The Line"
"Bang On The Drum All Day"
"Black Magic Woman"
"Broken Wings"
"Boys"
"Photograph"
"With A Little Help From My Friends"

Lady Gaga Announces First 'Born This Way Ball' Dates
Sourced from @LadyGaga/twitpic.comLady Gaga has announced the first run of dates for her Born This Way Ball world tour. The itinerary will kick off with a run of shows in Southeast Asia and Australia before heading off to Europe, Latin America and North America by the end of 2013. (Gaga is not expected to play arenas in the United States until next year.) The first gig of the tour will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea on April 27th.
Gaga teased the look of her tour yesterday by sharing an image of the stage setup with her fans on Twitter. The stage includes a castle along with an enclosed runway through the audience, which resembles the stage plan for U2's Elevation and Vertigo tours. According to Gaga, the enclosed area will be called the Monster Pit and will be reserved for fans with general admission tickets who "waited all night" and are "dressed to Ball."
Gaga's previous tour, the Monster Ball, ran from 2010 into 2011 and grossed $188 million over the course of 167 shows.

Bruce Springsteen Announces Dates for 'Wrecking Ball' Tour
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band perform at Bonnaroo 2009Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced a 19-date U.S. tour that kicks off March 18th at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and wraps up on May 2nd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The first batch of tickets go on sale this Friday. Three days before the tour launches, Springsteen will serve as the keynote speaker at the South By Southwest Music and Media Conference and Festival Austin, Texas. It is highly likely he will also perform a show somewhere in the area around that time.
This is Springsteen's first tour since the Working on a Dream tour ended in November 2009. It is also his first outing with the E Street Band since saxophonist Clarence Clemons died last June. A press release announcing the tour notes lists all of the current members of the E Street Band, but does not indicate how they plan on addressing the absence of Clarence Clemons.
Notable stops on the tour include a two-night stand at Madison Square Garden, two nights at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Springsteen's first live appearance at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and and an appearance at Jazz Fest in New Orleans.
Springsteen and the E Street Band will kick off a long European summer tour 11 days after the completion of the U.S. tour, but they will return to America sometime later this year – possibly to play stadiums in major U.S. markets. There have been reports that Springsteen may perform at Chicago's Wrigley Field in early September, but that is unconfirmed.
