Zach Rogue is Release the Sunbird

Zach Rogue of Rogue Wave started his creative side project Release the Sunbird in 2010 after needing an outlet to try something new creatively. On February 21st, Release the Sunbird will drop their latest digital EP, Imaginary Summer, which contains the gentle, melodic "I Will Walk." Initially, Rogue wanted "I Will Walk" to appear in a 2011 film.
"I originally wrote this song for the Paul Giamatti movie Win Win, but it was ultimately rejected – which is pretty funny since the song is about picking yourself up after being rejected. Oh, drink in the irony," Rogue says.
