Young Vito Indicted for Slim Dunkin Murder

Young Vito

A grand jury has indicted Young Vito, the Atlanta rapper accused of killing fellow emcee Slim Dunkin in December, Reuters reports. Young Vito, also known as Vinson Hardimon, has been charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony according to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office. A trial date has not yet been set.

Dunkin, an associate of Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame, was shot dead after a fight broke out in a recording studio on December 16th. According to a statement from the district attorney's office, Hardimon grew impatient waiting his turn to record and stormed the studio booth. He began punching Dunkin, which resulted in a fight that ended with the rapper being shot in the chest. Hardimon was free on bond for a previous aggravated assault charge at the time of Dunkin's murder. He fled the scene after the shooting, but surrendered to police 10 days later.
