Green Day Getting Musical Episode of 'Angry Birds Friends'

Green Day are getting their own musical episode in Angry Birds Friends. The pop-punk titans have teamed with Rovio Entertainment to appear in 10 new levels and give their likenesses to new pig characters in the Facebook-based video game. The episode will also feature the band's latest single "Oh Love" and the exclusive song "Troublemaker."

"We're all fans of Angry Birds," said Billie Joe Armstrong in a press release. "It's such an addictive game that when we first started playing it we couldn't stop."

More updates and details will come this fall. No release date has been given. Green Day are readying their album trilogy ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré!, with ¡Uno! set for release September 25th.
