The Rolling Stones debut the new documentary Crossfire Hurricane November 15th on HBO. The film tracks the band's career, from their teenage origins to their rise to stadium-sized glory and beyond. "This is not an academic history lesson," director Brett Morgan said in a statement, describing the film as an invitation to "experience firsthand the Stones' nearly mythical journey from outsiders to rock & roll royalty."
The Rolling Stones are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and recently spent time in a Paris recording studio. The band will also premiere their tour documentary The Rolling Stones: Charlie Is My Darling – Ireland 1965 as part of the New York Film Festival on September 29th.
